eCardPro Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before accessing or using the eCardPro platform. By creating an account, designing or publishing a digital card, or using our services, you agree to comply with these terms.

Effective Date: October 2026 • Version 1.3

Notice for Business Owner & Legal Advisor

These Terms of Service define the operating rules, rights, and restrictions applicable to all eCardPro users and organizations. These terms reflect current technical capabilities and remain subject to formal legal counsel review prior to commercial launch.

1. Account Registration, Account Use & Eligibility

To create an account and publish digital business cards on eCardPro:

  • Legal Capacity: You must be at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction to enter into this agreement.
  • Accuracy: You agree to provide true, accurate, and current registration information and maintain its accuracy.
  • Account Credentials: You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must promptly notify support of any unauthorized use.

2. User Responsibility & Third-Party External Links

You maintain sole User Responsibility for all information, claims, contact numbers, professional representations, and Third-Party External Links published on your digital cards. You warrant that you have all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to publish the content you submit. eCardPro does not endorse or assume liability for third-party external links or websites linked from user cards.

3. Public Digital Cards & Service Delivery

eCardPro provides digital card design, web hosting, dynamic QR generation, and standard vCard export tools. Cards can be configured with personalized themes, custom services, portfolios, and contact actions (Call, Email, WhatsApp, and vCard download).

4. Public Card Information & Handle / Slug Reservation

Cards set to Published are publicly indexable and accessible at web URLs (/c/:username or /c/:slug) without authentication. You acknowledge that any details entered into published cards are public. Vanity URL Handle / Slug reservations are assigned on a first-come basis, and eCardPro reserves the right to reassign slugs that violate registered trademarks or engage in cybersquatting.

5. Enterprise Accounts & Governance

Enterprise accounts enable organizations to deploy, brand, and supervise employee cards centrally. Enterprise owners are responsible for allocating team seats, configuring corporate Organization Branding guidelines, funding the pooled wallet, and ensuring authorized employee roster maintenance.

6. Employee Accounts & Restrictions

Employees access eCardPro under organization sponsorship. Employee permissions are restricted to managing their assigned card profile and viewing inquiries sent directly to their card. Employee accounts cannot attempt Privilege Escalation, modify enterprise billing, or alter peer cards. Enterprise owners maintain full rights over the assignment, suspension, or Revocation of employee cards upon staffing changes.

7. Acceptable Use & Security

You agree not to misuse the eCardPro platform. You must not attempt to circumvent database Row-Level Security, tamper with client-side code to bypass ₹10 usage deductions, execute high-frequency automated scraping, or introduce viruses, malicious scripts, or tracking exploits.

8. Prohibited Content

eCardPro strictly prohibits publishing cards or submitting inquiries that contain:

  • Phishing, fake banking portals, credential harvesting, or deceptive forms.
  • Impersonation of any person, entity, or registered trademark without authorization.
  • Hate Speech, harassment, threats, defamation, or promoting harm against individuals.
  • Pornography, sexually explicit media, illegal substances, or unlicensed financial schemes.

9. Account Suspension & Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or present security risks. Suspended cards immediately display a safe, branded status notice and prevent exposure of contact actions. You may terminate your account at any time via Account Settings.

10. User-Generated Content & License

You retain all intellectual property rights in the text, logos, photos, and media you upload to eCardPro. By publishing content on the platform, you grant eCardPro a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license strictly to host, resize, cache, and display that content as necessary to operate your public card.

11. Payment & Wallet Recharge Terms

eCardPro operates a pay-as-you-go micro-wallet model with fixed ₹50 recharges. Recharges are initiated via UPI QR code and credited upon verification of the 12-digit Bank Reference Number (UTR). See our Refund Policy for detailed payment terms.

12. Wallet Usage & Block Deductions

Card views are always unlimited and free. When interactive contact traffic exceeds complimentary monthly free quotas, ₹10 is sequentially deducted from your account wallet balance to unlock an additional interaction block (+10 phone, +10 WhatsApp, +25 email, +50 social clicks). Wallet balances are non-transferable between separate accounts.

13. Service Availability & Maintenance

While we strive for continuous service uptime through distributed edge infrastructure, eCardPro is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free operation. Occasional maintenance, updates, or third-party telecom network issues may cause temporary interruptions.

14. Platform Intellectual Property

eCardPro, including its brand identity, software code, template designs, UI components, and logos, is the property of its operators and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or commercially resell the platform without prior written consent.

15. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, eCardPro and its operators disclaim all warranties, express or implied. In no event shall eCardPro be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of business, profits, or data, arising from your use or inability to use the platform.

16. Modifications to Services & Terms

We may update these terms from time to time to reflect feature enhancements, regulatory requirements, or security adjustments. Material changes will be indicated with an updated effective date. Your continued use of eCardPro after revised terms are posted constitutes your acceptance.
